Waitlist privacy notice
This notice covers our website, baracast.com, and our beta waitlist. Baracast is run by its founder in North Carolina, United States. A full privacy policy for the Baracast app will be posted here before the beta begins.
What we collect
- When you visit the website: our web host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. The site loads its font from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- When you join the waitlist: our sign-up form runs on Google Forms. It collects your Google account email (verified by Google), your channel link, which computer you use, what you mostly stream, whether you live in the US, are 18 or older and stream in English, and, if you choose to answer, how many hours you stream and how you make clips today.
How we use it
Only to run the beta: to choose testers, to email you about the beta, and to understand which creators are interested. We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the services that run the website and form (Cloudflare and Google). Google's handling of form data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist answers until the beta ends, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
Your choices
To see, correct or remove your waitlist answers, email baracaststudio@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
Who the waitlist is for
The beta is open to people in the United States who are 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If we learn we have, we delete it.
Changes
We'll update this page, and the date above, if anything changes. The full privacy policy for the app will replace this notice before the beta opens.
